We
wanted to update everyone on where we are currently working to create
new driving trails for KAHT. We are currently completing the “Fiddlehead
Trail” that will span the counties of Morgan, Johnson, Lawrence,
Martin, Floyd and Magoffin. This driving loop will begin in Paintsville
and follow US 23 into Ulysses and follow Route 645 to Tomahawk and follow
Route 3 down (left Fiddlehead Trail)
to Prestonsburg. There, the loop will follow Route 114 into Salyersville
and then follow Route 460 to West Liberty. From there, the loop will follow
Route 172 around Paintsville Lake back to Paintsville.
We have two more trails that we are developing right now.
The first is the “Red River Gorge Trail" that will span the
counties of

The second trail is the “Red River
Gorge Trail” that will span the counties of Clark, Montgomery, Menniffee
and Powell.
Our final trail to develpe for this phase is the Natural
Bridge Trail (left Natural Bridge Trail Trail). This
trail includes the counties of Breathitt, Lee, Menifee, Morgan, Powell
and Wolfe.
We are very excited about the development
of these trails and encourage you to spread the word to other artisans
about our progress. If you know of artists in the areas we are developing,
please drop us a line and let us know who they are. We look forward to
seeing you on the trails!
