Cat's Paw Gifts & Antiques

The Entrance To The Cat's Paw Gifts & Antiques Shop

Cat's Paw opened November 2004 in a historic building where a shoe repair shop had operated until the late 1970s. The building had been empty since that time and the only remaining sign of the shoe shop was two window stickers with the brand name Cat's Paw, which was the soles and heels the shoe repairman used, hence the new name of the shop. In keeping with the character of the building, we carry unique, affordable gifts and a varied selection of antiques.

Our grapevine trees and wreaths are great sellers, but we also carry birdcages, birdbaths, mushrooms, flower boxes, along with many other interesting grapevine creations. They are all made locally by a very talented couple. Other local items include dollhouses, each one different and unique. Old Age dolls, totes, embroidered pillows, handmade and machine made quilts, cornshuck flowers, a variety of handmade wooden items, as well as handmade jewelry and candles decorate the shop. Mixed in with the handmade are many unique items that will appeal to everyone. We strive to find things that are different than the everyday.

We are located in the very small, but beautiful town of Irvine, which sits on the bank of the Kentucky River.

If you like Country Sampler, The Country House, and The Country Door, you will love our shop.
