Carter Caves State Resort Park

The Carter Caves region has the highest concentration of caves to be found in any area of Kentucky. Cascade and X Cave offer guided tours year-round. Bat and Saltpetre Caves have seasonal tours. Tour information, ticket sales, and schedules are available at the park's Welcome Center. The temperature inside the caves vary between 40 - 60 degrees year around so visitors should dress appropriately and wear sturdy shoes. Enjoy a subterranean adventure, created by nature over millions of years!
